PETER HOOPER’S ROYAL GARDEN JAZZ BAND

They’re back at 7.30pm. Saturday 16 February with a slight change in personnel but maintaining the renowned high standards with the frontline of David Gardner on reeds. Think back 12 months ago, Caravan/Golden Wedding) it blew us away. Derek Dalton, trumpet/entertainer/vocals. Brings Adelaide jokes to Victoria. Peter Hooper. Who else could make a banjo sing like this man? James Clark on bass. Recently likened to bassist James Brown (big call). Rob Moffatt, trombone/vocals and the hard driving drumming of Dean Cooper. Remember back when Dean cut loose at WJC when he backed Ruby Page in October. Absolutely brilliant.

This line up is a powerhouse of talented performers that will deliver red hot jazz at its best. BYO Nibbles. Drinks available @ Bowlo Prices.

It’s 5  plus years since the Syncapators have graced the Werribee Jazz Club bandstand. Please come along  and give them a good welcome back.

The SYNCAPATORS are  SIZZLING after two  recent  packed out performances at a Geelong  venue. They are  FIRED up for the opening night of our jazz calendar – Saturday January 19 at 7.30pm. This band has international recognition with several overseas visits  and a stack of CD’s to their credit.

School Holiday Fun!


Leisure Networks is holding a Totally Sports Day for kids based @ The Hive on 24th January including introduction to lawn bowls, swimming and tennis.

The Werribee Bowls Club is a family friendly Good Sports Club with a Child Safe Policy where we have accredited coaches available to introduce participants to the sport of lawn bowls.
