Neil Dalrymple – CEO Bowls Australia visits The Hive

Neil Dalrymple visit 14 Sept 2018

On Friday 14th September we had the pleasure of hosting Neil Dalrymple, Chief Executive Officer, Bowls Australia and our Regional Bowls Manger, Paul Holtschke @ The Hive.  Neil was very impressed with our facility, our Community Programs and our ongoing efforts to drive cultural change.

Neil was particularly impressed with our Bowling With Babies program, Seniors Multicultural Try Bowls/Concert event, Girls On The Green program and our Friday Nights @ The Hive program all aimed at increasing physical activity within our diverse community and participation in the sport of bowls.

In fact, as a result of Club initiatives, our President George Cairns has recently been advised that Werribee Bowls Club has been nominated for the Bowls Australia, Bowls Club Of The Year and we are down to the last two!  Winners will be announced at a Gold Coast Function on the 25th October!!  Fingers crossed so if you live in Wyndham or surrounding areas and think that you’d either like a game of bowls or learn to play bowls give us a call @ The Hive on 9741 3229.

Free coaching and equipment provided to get you onto the greens in a social environment whilst enjoying a low cost, low impact activity to keep you fit and healthy.
