POLICE & FRIENDS DAY Fri 14th March 2025

We had a fantastic turnout for our annual Open Nominated Fours tournament Runners up: Glenn Clarkson, George Cairns, Bill Dean & Geoff Bristow (29 shots up)

Winners: Ian Hill, Alan Taylor, Trevor Lloyd & Brian Taylor (31 shots up)

A BIG thank you to Jim Rayner who has run this event for several years and to the team of kitchen ladies & volunteers who all contribute to make this day so successful

Bookings are essential for barefoot bowls AND for dining reservations.

Dining is $20 per person. Kids meals and desserts sold separately. Friday Night Meals is catered by Kiev Nation.

Due to the amount of rain we have had recently, our remaining No.3 Green (grass) is requiring to ‘dry out’ more before further use. If no more rainfall today and/or overnight, there is a chance winter social bowls will proceed this Saturday – our fingers are crossed and we will let you know!

As part of the Chirnside Park Master Plan, our new No.2 Green (grass) is still in its infancy and reconstruction has begun on our popular No.1 Green (synthetic). Works on No.1 Green is expected to last another 4-6 weeks.
