MEMBER’S SOCIAL BOWLS
Regular games are scheduled for all of our members to enjoy occasional and social games as well as competitive games. Drop in and have a chat to one of our members. New bowlers are most welcome and well catered for by our accredited volunteer coaches.
To register simply come in to the Club, go to the members noticeboard and place your name on the respective booking sheet.
- Tuesday 10am (mixed) – BYO lunch (winter months only / May-Aug)
- Wednesday 11am (men only) – Turkey Triples
- Wednesday 6:30pm (mixed) – Twilight Bowls (October – March only)
- Saturday 11am (mixed) – BYO lunch (winter months only / May-Aug)
- Thursday 10am – Ladies Social Bowls (during season only)
TWILIGHT BOWLS
Twilight social bowls is now run each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm over the daylight saving period. Games are open to all – those new to the game through to Pennant veterans. To get a game, please ensure that your name is entered on the sheet under the noticeboard in the clubroom prior to 5pm each Wednesday afternoon. New bowlers are always welcome @ The Hive.
Only flat soled shoes or bare feet are permitted on the greens. Club Dress Rules stipulate neat attire at all times. No singlets or T-shirts bearing crude logos! Hats/caps are encouraged to not be worn in the club house.
Advice to new Twilighters: If you are completely new to lawn bowls it is a good idea to contact the Club first and arrange an introductory coaching session with one of our accredited coaches or senior players to cover the basics of the game.
